PROGRAM: Surviving Information Overload: How to Find, Filter, and Focus on What’s Important
Are you in a data daze? No doubt about it—we live in the “Information Age”. Every day, we are bombarded with information whether we are sitting at our desks or on our couches. The information we need (and even some we don’t need) comes to us faster and in more formats than ever before. It’s no wonder many of us are living with information anxiety.
In this program, we will consider how to:
• Overcome information anxiety.
• Find your way out of the multi-tasking maze.
• Avoid getting buried in an e-mail avalanche.
• Stop paper pile-ups before they begin.
• Use information technology wisely. Take back your time and commit to improving the quality of your life—you will find that the results are more than worth the effort.
